The 2nd round of the 1/8th Stock Car National Series was held at Adur, 22 drivers were in the pits for a good days racing

Heat 1

Round 1 went to John Allan, Round 2 went to Ben Harding with 53 Laps, Round 3 went to Dutch Open Champion Richard Swales and Round 4 went to Michael Overland with 49 Laps

Heat 2

Round 1 went to Richard Godley with 47 Laps, Round 2 went to Ben Harding again with 53 Laps 3 laps clear of Steven Swales in second, Round 3 went to Richard Swales with 52 Laps from Mark Whittaker 50 Laps and Round 4 went to Michael Overland with 51 Laps

Heat 3

Round 1 went to Jonathan Goodacre with 50 Laps Round 2 went to Ben Harding with 53 Laps, Round 3 went to Mark Whittaker with 49 Laps and Round 4 to Michael Overland with 50 Laps

Heat 4

Round 1 went to Jonathan Goodacre with 49 Laps, Round 2 went to Steven Swales with 49 Laps from Ross Wiffen in second with 48 Laps, and Round 4 went again to Michael Overland.

The top 4 drivers were seeded straight through to the final with the next 6 drivers contesting the Semi Final with the top 2 drivers going through. The 2 drivers to qualify were Richard Swales with 63 Laps and Ross Wiffen with 60 Laps

Final

The six drivers lined up for the final and it turned out to be a very good race with lots of battles are round the raceway but the results were:

1st - Ben Harding - 64 Laps
2nd - Richard Swales - 62 Laps
3rd - Jonathan Goodacre - 59 Laps
4th - Julian Vaux - 58 Laps
5th - Ross Wiffen - 57 Laps
6th - Michael Overland - 47 Laps

Well done to all the racers for an excellent meeting at Adur and well done to Ben Harding on winning the final.
