The final round of the winter series was held at Nora with drivers still fighting for positions in the overall series. With 19 drivers competing on a dry day the racing was going to be very fast.

Round 1

Heat wins in the 1st round going to 732 Daniel Overland with 46 Laps, 217 Mark Whittaker with 50 Laps, 391 Jody Foster with 52 Laps and Dave Waters with 41 Laps

Round 2

Another Heat win for Daniel Overland with 46 Laps started Round 2 with other victories going to 390 Scott Grocock with 53 Laps, Jody Foster with 55 Laps and Nora Driver 34 Thomas Yarwood with 47 Laps completing the round.

Round 3

The racing was really starting to heat up now Phil Chadbourne 739 taking Heat 1 with 46 Laps, Heat 2 been won by Steve Overland 377 with 51 Laps, Heat 3 was won by Roy Watson 33 with 54 Laps and Heat 4 by Scott Grocock with an impressive 55 Laps

Round 4

Final Round of Heats and still all to play for with Heat 1 going to Jody Foster with 51 Laps, Heat 2 was won by Andrew Whittaker with 50 Laps, Heat 3 was won by 64 Dick Batty with 52 Laps and Heat 4 was won by Scott Grocock with 54 Laps.

After the four rounds the top 2 drivers qualified straight through to the Final they were Jody Foster and Scott Grocock with the next 12 drivers going into the consolation with top 2 from each race qualifying for the Final.

Consolation 1

Very good race this one the race was won by Roy Watson on split times from Dick Batty both drivers completing 64 Laps with Steve Overland in third place.

Consolation 2

Again another close race with local driver 395 Pete Pexton taking the win from Mark Whittaker both drivers completing 63 Laps with Andrew Whittaker finishing third.

Final

The six drivers set off but the field was reduced when Dick Batty retired after his car stalled and Scott Grocock having problems but a fine close race the results were:

1st - Jody Foster - 69 Laps
2nd - Pete Pexton - 68 Laps
3rd - Mark Whittaker - 68 Laps
4th - Roy Watson - 66 Laps
5th - Scott Grocock - 52 Laps
6th - Dick Batty - 13 Laps

The series has now concluded and congratulations go to 391 Jody Foster for taking the series by one point from Mark Whittaker and Dick Batty finishing in third position.
